I wanted to thank you, as this performance was what inspired me to play the Uke. I could never quite master this piece with the bottle neck, though! (I've put a couple of tunes up on youtube myself now.)

Sorry fella but I hate you ;-) If I had two lfe times I could never learn to play like that.
But will keep on trying, just got to work out the second life time thing.

you tuned open? I've tried that on a mandolin. Not with a slide, but it's cool cause you can strum it open and do these cool indian-esque solos on a single string, while the rest of the strings create a drone, like a sitar. A very poor mans sitar that sounds nothing like a sitar but you get the point.

no, it isn't tuned open.. just standard GCEA-tuning. but good idea.. i'm gonna try it.
