this is my 81 scorpion 210 and the turn was too tight and stalled out

    Bad carb adjustment, incorrect base timing, bad accelerator pump.

    That's where I'd start.

  • @MagnatechEngineering , actually, it ended up being the pickup in the tank being clogged.... hi volume pump, and the 750 carb didnt help either... :)

  • shes a good old girl, new paint and rails are next and shes done.motors pushing around 375hp.

  • I have one too an 84' open bow, just had a new engine put in at sevaunt marine its a 406ci small block with all roller valvetrain and world products 200 sprtsman heads, an victor jr intake and to top it all of a set of dry stack zoomie headers, like you see on drag cars.

  • My dads got the same boat but it is about 450 h.p. he built the motor. its sweet. ill put a video of it on here.
