@saraandreaneill You're a moron if you can't see the point I was making. Do I think I am a 'have'? No, but I am certainly better off than some. The point is that you can't tax your way out of poverty. Start taxing the rich to death and see how many of them suddenly start hiding their income and how many of them stop trying to make even more money just to be given to the 'have nots'. And you called me stupid. What a joke!
@anooseholay you think you are a have but you are a have not. you are not rich enough top be a have nor am i making 80,000/yr. you are too stupid to realize this though. soon it will be obvious who the haves and have nots are, but by then it will be too late to help the have nots as the power the haves have will be too great... think about a kingdom with peasants living in filth working for the king who deserves all the money because it's his kingdom rt? that's when idiots like you will get it.
@EmilyMillerDC Didn't see your comment until after I posted mine.
Coming from the Left, I feel the same about you (vs Jason) as you do about Rep. Ryan (vs other "ambushed" Dems). Seeing your professional & respectful tone was a welcome change. (Also made me rethink the crazy Rangel supporter video. While I still want raw tape, you're apparently not one of the young punks likely to provoke such a thing. (I wouldn't put that past any of the CNN stars, however.) Hope you keep being civil.
Some "ambushes" work better than others, I guess...
Not sure if this one failed because Emily has far more professionalism and class than Jason, or becauseTim knows his stuff better'n some of the other "ambush" targets, or both, but it came out looking like a pretty good interview, with no real pain (or gloating) for either side.
@LibertyDownUnder Exactly! You cannot take money from the haves and give it to the have nots to try and even things out because eventually that haves will start asking why they should even bother working anymore when all they have to do is sit back and wait until they become the have nots and then they can start collecting.
@LibertyDownUnder The more pressing issue is that this tax hike on Jan. 1 will affect small businesses who create 60-80% of new jobs. With 9% unemployment in this country, the WORST THING we can do is cripple small business entreprenuers.
@angelofragnarok I agree completely with you. I walked away from the interview thinking, well, good people can disagree and be civil. Congressman Ryan is a nice man and was very receptive to talking about taxes and spending. I disagree strongly with his policies and politics, annd I wish he would see better that taxes on small businesses will further hurt the economy. BUT Igive him credit for even talking to a conservative outlet like Human Events.
Yeah ! let's tax the evil rich people.......we could start with George Soros, Bill Gates and Warren Buffet......all Democrats.!

Was he really 'Ambushed'? I think the headline is more sensationalized than the video.
