The combination of Tiznow and Durkin is enough to make me watch this video for the rest of my life. I'll never forget being at BEL that day.

@bnegs521, The BC Classic has actually been run for 27 years, coming up on it's 28th, and Tiznow is indeed the only horse that's still ever won the Classic in back to back years. The only horse who's really been close besides Tiznow is Zenyatta.

This was the only bad race that Galileo ever ran in his career. After coming so close to winning the Classic the year prior with Giant's Causeway, you can understand Aidan O'Brien taking a shot with this horse. He had won 6 of 7 starts in Europe. Including the Epsom and Irish Derbies. Plus the King George. His only loss had been by a head to Fantastic Light in the Irish Champion Stakes. But Galileo's pedigree was all turf and no dirt. Think this horse could've easily won the BC Turf in 2001.
