  • Yip Man passed away in 1972 but just a few weeks before he died, he made sure the various forms of Wing Chun were recorded on 8mm film in order to preserve the pure Wing Chun system. Yip man was very weak during the shooting and had to rest between shots. Ip Chun sold the one and only 8mm of his father to Leung Ting in 1980's for less than $10,000 US. Ip Ching received $0.00 from the sale of his father's 8mm. Today, Leung Ting is the copyright owner of Yip Man's only existing 8mm.

  • This is a different video than the other Yip Man video showing the dummy. This was obviously taken when they took pictures. This is the same as Yip Chun`s book. His book shows his dad doing the form alittle differently at the end from the other film.
