In the follow-up to the mondo-success Anaconda explorer Rolf Blomberg travels into the Brazilian jungle in search of the terrifying xavante indians. The Brazil-expedition starts in the port of Belém in the Amazon River estuary and continues inland. In the ghost town Manaus, in the middle of the jungle, they visit the strange Opera House (whose creation is described in Werner Herzogs Fitzcarraldo). On the island Bananal in Rio Araguaya they meet the indian tribe carajá and experience their daily lives with bow hunting, fishing and festive dance rites.
