  • My heart goes out too the families... Being a fellow oilfield righand it just boggles my mind when people trash the oilfield... Hey dickcheese nxt time u jump in your car too take your fatass too mickey ds maybe u outta think about the luxories u have in your life and what hard working people all over the world have too do so you can have them...

  • SMGJohn, This is 1988. It was not a time when everybody knew what was coming. Nobody would have questioned Henry Ford on the impact of the oil industry. And yet here we stand.

  • @fay1wray Im sure your dad was a hero RIP what ever his name was im sorry for your loss xx

  • Lest we forget.

  • @fay1wray Hi, I worked on the incident for an art installation in 2009. I mentioned the families of the victims in the text. I went through the documentary and through several web pages with testimonies. It took me 2 years of research. Maybe you were in one. I believe the accident really kept many people's lives from danger. I believe all persons who perished are somewhat the heroes of many workers till today. I know there is no comfort, but people are working to make this known, recognized.

  • My dad was killed on the Piper - I miss him so much . I saw your vid its like seeing the news that day - being taken to Aberdeen ( 500 miles away with 2 very new babies) and trying to see a survivior with a nose like my Dad's - it didn't happen
