@nikl99 I'm just saying the airlines would prefer to see experience in busy airspace and at busy airports rather then a grass strip.

@nikl99 Depends which feild you want to go into, if your going to the airlines then UND will suit you better. I don't go to UND, I train at a 5,000ft x 150ft wide runway, however I do get better training here then at a 2,000 x 40ft grass strip. Why? At the larger airports you deal with more traffic, controlled airports, and busier airspace. You won't get that at your grass strip. Now i'm not trying to knock grass strips at all, if you can land there you can land anywhere!

@JetAviator3 Anybody can take off and land a nose wheel airplane on a 7,000ft+ runway thats 150ft wide. That's a joke. Pilots who learn on a 2,000 x 40ft grass strip in a tail wheel can actually say they know how to fly.

UND Aerospace is a world-wide leader in Aerospace Training and Education. The video in that particular sequence featured a class from EVA Airlines. UND Aerospace has provided training students from across the United States and for students from China, Japan, Norway, Saudi Arabia and Russia as well as contract training for various corporate entities nationally and internationally.
