This might be harsh but works as a reminder for myself before anyone else, whenever we think of committing a sin we should maybe remind ourselves with a lighter under the hand what hell is about.

  • Mashallah brother, thanks for reminding us again. May Allah reward you

  • @Feskochsnus According to Islam the Jews changed the 'writings of Moses' as did the Christians the 'New Testament'. Both rejected Islam & therefore are Apostates and worthy of Death. Robert Spencer(Jihad Watch) mentioned "Towards understanding the Qur'an: an English version of the Qur'an", written by 'Mawdudi' a recognized scholar of Islam & translated by Zafar Ishag Ansari. It puts the Koranic verses in context. I have already ordered a copy. I am not naive re Islam & it's aims!

  • @Feskochsnus If that is your real feelings about prayer, perhaps there is an opening for 'dialogue' between Islam & Catholicism. I recently talked to a young 20 year old Muslim student in Canada. I asked him, "What is pray for for you?" His reply was basically the same as mine. After our discussion, I later called him over, and said, "Adil, I give you a Triple A rating!" We laughed. However the idea that Moses & Christ preached Islam & Jews & Christians are Apostates is rubbish.

  • @92sumsum i thought elah was the hewbrew word for god..

  • @watchful38 everything u said is comparible to islam

  • jazakallaahh may Alaah bless you

  • Treat people as you would wish to be treated, read the "A Father". and try to live it, This will bring Heaven on Earth.

If there is a God, or not? I don't know, but if there is, what right have we mere mortals to say what God says we should do, or not do on his behalf?

Is anyone wise enough to do this?

  • may allah increase our taqwa and give us allthe twfeeq to follow his commands ameen

  • @daisy26000

Why then do you believe in the god of Muhammad's imagination? A god who cruelly tortures people with fire for centuries? If your god commanded you to torture disbelievers for centuries would you disobey? Why do you believe in a god who demands that thieves lose their hands, but does not condemn enslaving a person for life? Tonight ask your god if he exists. If you reply, "my god will not speak to me!", then how do you know that your god spoke to Muhammad? Because Muhammad says so?

  • @sardarshamas

    * Henry does not cruelly torture people with fire for centuries, but reprograms their brains to sin no more & sends them to live on another planet

    * Unlike Allah, Henry states that both female genital mutilation, & murdering prisoners of war, apostates & poets are wicked.

    * Henry does not state that women are inferior to men

    * Unlike Allah, Henry encourages people not to "kill the infidel" but to "be kind to your enemy"

Do you still prefer the god of Muhammad's imagination?
