I feel this guy's pain. I have Native American ancestors and I know nothing about them because my Mom refuses to share information with me. All I know is that my Grandmother who I never met (died before I was born) was from Quebec Canada, and that my ancestors probably originate fromt he Cree Tribe and my Grandma spoke French. Really wish I knew more about my ancestors and what they were like. I don't want them to be forgotten and it helps me know who I am.

I didn't know there were many other Metis in Victoria...
