Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Complete
Boss Battle #16
Zophar

==============================

Strategy?

As much as I'd rather have you guys figure it out on your own, I'll just show my strategy. (First attempt at Zophar. D:)

--► Pre-Battle Preparations:

► Be at least level 50 or higher. (Triple Sword FTW!)

► Use Tactics to spread out your characters like how I did (One in each corner, one in the middle)

► Equip all your strongest gear.

► Use Starlights/Silverlights to recover your party's MP, and heal up.

► Give Lemina and Ronfar 2 Chiro Crests (They were essential for me, and it helps in the next boss battle).

► Equip Angel Rings on all your characters (You should have around 5 of them by this point.

► The White Dragon Crest is ESSENTIAL. Thinking back, it might have been better if I gave it to Lemina (since she has the most MP), but I gave mines to Jean.

--► Battle Strategy:

Hiro: Triple Sword is just too awesome to not use. 3 hits, around 2k+ damage when buffed. He'll be using that until he runs out of MP, then use a Starlight/Silverlight. Keep on using Triple Sword.

Ronfar: Divine Litany never gets old, use that first round, then Tranquil Litany is what he's going to be using for the rest of the battle. Have Ronfar cast Miracle Litany to revive dead characters, and Clean Litany to cure status ailments.

Jean: Well, I didn't really use White Dragon Protect in this battle (I don't know why). It would have been helpful, but I managed without it. Slam Dance (If you level 51), otherwise use Dopple Dance. "Blue Dragon Palm!"

Lemina: Power Drive on Hiro is key, then Jean and Leo. She'll be spending her turns buffing everyone. When your attackers are buffed up enough, then she can cast Ice Arrows.

Leo: Earth Prayer --► Flash Blade, and have him heal using items whenever necessary.

As long as your characters are healed, this battle shouldn't be too difficult. None of Zophar's attacks are particularly dangerous, besides his Attack-All Fire spell (Where he has both his hands down along his sides). As long as you have your characters spread out, his Zone attack (Where he raises both his hands up into the air), will only damage one character for 280-ish damage.

Again, relatively simple as long as you keep everyone healed and buffed.

  • Whoever was playing this had no idea how to use Jean. :/

  • @Rane0Shalar

Aww, thanks for the helpful advice buddy! You're a great person.

She was silenced for most of the fight, Slam Dance = additional damage per turn, her best damage move is Blue Dragon Palm. I'm not exactly sure how more efficient I could be with her besides curing silence earlier.

I'm so sorry for not meeting up to your expectations!

  • Zophar looks........really......gay.

  • What do you expect? He merged with a goddess after all. Haha.

  • I been looking for this game for SO long. I had memories of it but i didnt know the name. then i finally found it after looking. I hope I can find the rom and a emulator for it

  • MEGA MAGIC POWER!

  • @TelicNotionX To be fair, it's better to use Leo as bait. Leo's normal attack can hit twice and can crit so the silencing issue isn't a problem, AND he has good health, speed, and defense stats.

  • This peace of work is worth 169.95$

  • @mopbrothers looks like lady gaga ^_^

  • @ChronoCrossKid i quote peter griffen im gunna give her her a peice of mind or penis

  • @TelicNotionX Actually, slam dance is basically useless, since it does about a third of a blue dragon palm damage AND it lasts only three turne.

Basically => slam dance = Dragon palm in damage, but the mp cost of slam dance is ... Ouchy.

    +Angel rings are useless :)
