can you connect a tv on it,and if you can how long can you leave it on!
-
The uploader is incorrect in "turning the powerpack on" to jump start the vehicle at 2:58. The On/Off switch is turn on the AC inverter of which is not needed to jump the vehicle using the jumpstart DC cale port. "turning the powerpack on" is NOT mentioned in the user manual instructions on pages 20-21 and in fact probably decreases your chance of jumping successfully as the inverter consumes power (even with no loads plugged into it) when you need max power thru the DC port.

could you charge it up from a wall socket then plug the wall charger into the powerpack then plug it into the powerpack and have infinite power.
-
would this lower your bill too ??
if it takes 300 watts to chage up
and you get back 900 watts ??
in return
or am i miss under stood about this ??
thanks

Can this be charge with a solar panel?
-
Just imagine what a boombox would be like it it had a power inverter.
-
With this apparatus can i use it for music for a street party? Is that possible. If not, what would i need for that? Any help is welcome. Thanks

don't waste your money, can't even jump my car at full charge, and the compressor takes forever to inflate a tire
Question!
i am trying to see how long that battery pack will last if i try to power an iPod dock using the AC outlets....(Logitech 715i) at 75% volume
any feedback will be useful, thanks

@ButterOnMyBiscuit
Doesn't the Logitech 715i have a build in batterypack to last for 8 hours? I suppose you could run the Logitech 715i off the Duracell powerpack 450 all day long with some extra power left over if you were camping for a day or two. We haven't tested that specific Logitech 715i with the powerpack 450, so we couldn't tell you exactly how long it would last.

I see now, you turned the power pack on AFTER it was connected. So you are right, there is no power at the time of the connecting of the terminals. But normally if the power pack (booster pack) doesn't have an on/off switch and relies on the slight power of the battery it is boosting (which is why many don't boost completely dead batteries) then you wouldn't want to connect it to the negative terminal of the battery incase the battery is leaking fumes and could ignite.

@camarosource You're still correct though, the positive should have been connected first, then ground. We'll be more careful in our future videos with specifc details.

Everything was perfect about this video UNTIL you showed how to jumpstart your car. You do NOT put the negative cable on the negative terminal on the battery; this is unsafe and will indicate this in the instructions of the power pack.
You put the positive on the positive terminal of the battery, and the negative on an unpainted metal part of the engine away from any moving components (ie. fan, belt, alternator).

@camarosource You are correct. However, it should not matter with this Powerpack. The Powerpack 300 has a reverse polarity detection circuit to prevent damage to the unit and/or create a sparking or explosion hazard. You could actually reverse the poles and nothing will happen. It's safe and will not damage any electricals in your car.
