Featured speakers have included Al Gore on climate change, Philippe Starck on design, Jill Bolte Taylor on observing her own stroke, Nicholas Negroponte on One Laptop per Child, Jane Goodall on chimpanzees, Bill Gates on malaria and mosquitoes, Pattie Maes on the "Sixth Sense" wearable tech, and "Lost" producer JJ Abrams on the allure of mystery. And so the conclusion we eventually arrive at is this: Though the message which convinced us we would discover great meaning, should we continue following where it lead us, was in reality naught but a fantasy constructed to cause a search for meaning to well up within the self, the results were ultimately a certain success, in the sense that the peoples' eyes were opened to behold the truth that the great insight which they sought was the fact that there was never any wisdom to begin with.
