How come no one has a Youtube post telling us what microphone is the best USB mic for a voice over work?
I have spent a lot of time and money trying to find the best microphone to use with Camtasia Studios.
Listen to this and see if the Blue Yeti is right for you and your background noise environment.
I have put together a side by side test of 3 mics: The Blue Yeti (Ultra Sensitive), Logitech USB Clear Chat Headset (Very Poor Tonal Range), and a CB radio 4 pin power RF Limited Turbo Extreme 2018 power echo mic converted into a 3.5mm input into the laptop (They said it could not me done).
It turns out that voice over is not possible with kids present and pets around...I don't want to build a recording studio and quiet room, so what is the best mic for computer voice overs and noise canceling the back ground? I think that there is a marked to CB Microphone's converted to the computer....
What mics work for you?
Nice video. I want to connect a 4 pin power CB radio mic to my computer. How did you converted into a 3.5mm?

does he not know any thing about audio editing software like cool edit cubase pro tools etc. there is an option in effects called noise reduction now speaking on people screaming and stuff of course its gonna pick it up you just got to be in a normal quiet room but that air sound you can hear when he says he cut the air off can be fixed with a click of a couple of buttons!

cant you put it on cardioid and turn the gain down to minimum and it will eliminate the noise?

@Subliminalhiphop the mic works great for me now. I'm very computer competent, but for some reason my computer did not pick up my Yeti to use so I wasn't actually getting its quality. After figuring out some settings I got it to work very well & enjoy the mic. I thought this might have been the issue with the snowball as well, I tried it for kicks knowing that the Yeti would be better anyway, I still didn't like the snowball. Oh well, I'm happy with the Yeti now. & it's for Podcasting.
