What fragile balance? Is that balance put here for us or did we co-evolve with our environment? If T-Rex could think like us, he may have thought that his fragile environment was put there just for him. You can't take a geologic snapshot - 5000 years of recorded human history- and expect to see really big changes. Life is still evolving and always will just like the continents are still moving apart. We can prove both.  The bible is flat out wrong.

The bottom line is this: the book of genesis is a fairytale - it's not science. Jackasses like Hovind continue an American tradition of the snake oil salesman and freakshow carnival barker. These creationists-IDers don't even believe the bullshyte they're preaching. It's all a lucrative business for their ministries to keep as many sheeple ignorant and dialing the dontation hotlines. It's really as simple as that :-)

The fragile balance of things is proof enough, just because you won't accept it doesn't make it a fairytale. There is no other explanation that makes sense. IF evolution is true, the world would be out of balance based on the changes that would always be taking place. Because everything would be evolving, which it is not.

Your comment can basically be broken down to "Well, no theory really makes sense so i'll just choose the most ridiculous, outlandish, nonsensical one."

The most outlandish one would be to believe that the universe happened just out of the air. only a fool would believe that.

I dont accept it BECAUSE it is a fairytale. And everything is evolving, but not overnight as you might think. The balance you talk about is here because of evolution, because things evolve alongside one another the balance stays.

Or the flying spaghetti monster.
Or the invisible pink unicorn.
