@wilrk I completely agree with you! Even though her face may appear a tad masculine, I still believe she's one of the most beautiful women I've ever seen:D I love how fiery and passionate her dancing is:) I wish I'd been born earlier so that I could have seen her perform live with Michael Flately, before he became overly egotistic...D:

I've heard some people say that they don't like her because they can't look past her "nose" or "manly face", but c'mon! Her dancing exudes grace, beauty, femininity, sensuality, and so on. How could anyone be bothered to judge her face when there's a certain raw intensity in her movements and expression that's totally mesmerizing? Those people need to learn that there's more to beauty than a face, and this woman is stunning just the way she is.

no, María Pagés is actual from Spain- due to her biography. Amazing woman by the way :) I love Flamenco dance, music and singing. In Riverdance it is just fantastic how they mix Irish Music and dance with other culture :)
