@dezzay12 from the begining of the show mark said it was always going to be peyton and lucas, that they were alway planing on making it them,... and peyton was with lucas before brooke in season 1, so she broke the best friened rule first by going out with lucas after peyton kinda went out with him....

@dezzay12 get a grip. this is not real life. it has nothing to do with their personal lives. in the show, he and peyton are meant for each other. i'm not saying he didn't love brooke or lindsay. both girls are amazing, but peyton, she was always there, in the back of his mind. he was a little stupid in season 5, because he was obviously crazy for peyton and he never admitted it until the wedding day. and what lindsay did at the end, that was truly amazing. if you love somebody,set them free.

@KiillaKirsche I don't have to "look int the head of Mark Schwahn. If you watch any of the bts stuff from season 1 you know that Mark wrote OTH as a movie, that version of OTH was going to be just a story about Lucas and Nate, with leyton as the romance in the movie. And if you really want more proof that it was ALWAYS going to be leyton then watch the pilot episode and tell me who isn't in it...BROOKE the only reason why Brooke was written in to the show was so Peyton had a best friend.

Apparently I can't say it often enough and some simply don't want to accept it. It's so that Peyton and Lucas end up together. FINE we all noticed it, we all saw One tree hill. However, It's allowed to dream or? And in some dreams it's Brooke and Lucas.

And you still can't say it was ALWAYS leyton. You simply don't know it and are not able to look in the head of Mark Schwahn.

@veiloaaa Yeah this is maybe your opinion. I think everyone can see it like everyone wants. However, we should not say it was always Peyton or Brooke. We will never probably know it. However, I still think the private life of the actors have played a big role for the course of the series.
