Like many of us, Joe Biden suffers from Hoof in Mouth disease! That's what makes him so real! But, in all seriousness I respect the man. He was a single working parent for a number of years (before remarrying) after the tragic loss of his Wife and year old daughter in a car accident in which his 2 sons were critically injured, eventually making full recoveries. He has been a strong fierce advocate(introduced new laws)in preventing violence against women. Eg: Spousal/Date Rape tougher sentencing!

The difference between a brigade and a battalion can make a big difference in war. 2 battalions would be around 3,000 soldiers and 2 brigades would be around 15,000 soldiers. That's a really big difference, and if Obama thinks that 2 battalions will change the tide of war in Afghanistan, then I sure as hell believe him. I mean the man is obviously a military genious and knows how to fight a war.

Brigades or Battalions. The fact is that we should have sent more troops to Afghanistan Bush lost focus of going after Osama Bin Laden. Bush chose to invade Iraq under false pretenses instead. Osama is still between the borders of Afghanistan and Pakistan yet we're still in Iraq which had nothing to do with 9/11. Sadam was removed over 5 years ago. We need to refocus our efforts in Afghanistan and let the Iraqis have their country back. We must get Osama. America should come first not Iraq.

Exactly buzzzzzzzkiller. There WAS no declaration of war in Iraq. It was an invasion orchestrated by the Bush Administration based on false information provided by others in the Bush Administration and misinterpreted by still others in the Bush Administration. Bush 'declared' war in Iraq, based on WMD misinformation, and a misguided belief that Saddam Hussein was involved in 9-11... which he wasn't. Osama Bin Laden didn't even LIKE Saddam Hussein. Remember finding Bin Laden? Hows that going?
