The you allied pilots came down on their Brit made Irvin parachutes and the axis pilots came down on their German made Irvin parachutes but for those that never got out the screams of fear and anguish were the same.
And when the war was done all that remained stood together in friendship and common respect for their former foes to honour the young men whose ghosts will forever stand testiment to the futility of it all. Such is war.

Very interesting footage. I've seen a lot of the aerial gun camera stuff, but not the scenes shot from the ground.
It's interesting watching the German perspective from that time, not an opportunity one can typically get in the US or England... and I suspect Germany now.
I'm an American, btw. Thank you for posting this.

@kokosz33 there is...the gradnfather of a friend of mine got shot by mustangs when he and his friends were on a hill in the winter to go sledging (is it the right word ? )...both sides did terrible things ! but we can compare them and they are somewhat equal when it comes to war crimes...not civilian like the "Endlösung"

I'm glad you like the video, but my intentions were not to show propaganda, even if the music track seems to be that. Enjoy the video and stop talking about Nazis or Commies... and think European, we all have more important matters today than discuss if one was a Nazi pig or a Commie scum or something else...
