WAZIRISIDE STORY: Till They Framed Rod Blagojevich - Scene 1: "No School No School"
SHEIKS:
No school, no school, there's no school today
We can run, we can kick we can all go & play,
No school, no school, no schoo-ool.
The refugees came a long time ago
And the UNHCR
Big bags of rice, & flower enriched
The supply had been stretched thin.
Notebooks & pencils & all of the food
Went away with the staff
And the classroom returned to the dir-rt mound
Where it had always been.
DRONES:
No school, no school, there's no school today
Sonic runs when we click & we all love to play,
No school, no school, no schoo-ool.
We got a new game called Haa-alo
And we think it is cool.
Guns & grenades & bullet stockpiles
Lead us onto new levels to rule,
But summer will be done & the big bus will come,
And we all have to go.
Village Elder Report:
"A cluster of boys & girls shelters from the sun in the shade of the trees on the edge of their village. They should be at school. Instead as this elder explains, the money for this school has run out. So instead the children are taught at the village masque, there they learn religion & religion only."
SHEILA & WALI:
New school, new school, we got a new school
We got a new school today.
It's built out of brick,
Got a big minaret,
And Mullah will teach us to pray.
