Grows the seed and blossoms the meadow
And the woods is back again

The calf lows after the cow
The bull leaps, the buck leaps forth.
Merrily sing, cuckoo!
Cuckoo, cuckoo,
Well sing you, cuckoo!
Do not stop ever again now
Sing cuckoo now, sing cuckoo!
Sing cuckoo now, sing cuckoo!

Adam de la Halle- sumer is icumen in? this is a mistake, A. de la Halle was not the compositor of the english piece Sumer...the interpretation of the Hilliard Ensemble is really marvellous
