its because youre still going the same way, when you go the opposite way you need to be going that way, not just having the car turned the other way. i reccomend only to turn the car around when youre long away from the opponent, otherwise the risk of losing the lead is big.

ive never really tried that i usually just turn a lot then use my speed to get away

wtf? 54 seconds on an outrun? and that civic is riced...dude with my outruns with a civic with the guy ahead of me i nailed 13 seconds with no nos when they were usin it...can u drive and have good style? besides rice?
