You want to talk about democracy? Corporations are the complete opposite of a democratic state, they are ruled by a strict hierarchical structure and corporate America is starting to look like a monarch where the United States government answers to its corporate masters.

Kennedy was right to be so incensed. Looks at what the MSM covers- Massa, Tiger, Michael Jackson, sex scandals, Toyota, with a little health care thrown in- usually from a republican point of view- and tells us this is what matters. The absolute gall. I've seen that clip a half dozen times and each time the reporter looks offended... Please. All MSM are corporate 'enforcers' just like the politicians they criticize and interview.

... wait, so it's just cool to say, well we didn't cover the war debate because massa talking is a more important story? Seriously, he said it'd help the media if massa shut up and they're rightfully over-covering Massa. Basically saying, why don't you control all the smaller stories and then we'll maybe cover an important debate.
I'm sorry but that was just a disgraceful justification of the media's failure.

Corporate lobbyist should be BANNED from Washington once and for all. Corporate America continues to screw the American people over and we just sit quite and accept it. Republicans hall the gall to complain about government takeover, if they weren't so corrupt, 'corporate takeovers' should be the enemy.
