This is what's left of Ross and Amber's home. I am standing where the back door of their trailer would have been. As I pan around, note the black pickup, that's the front porch in front of the truck. The pile of rubble towards the end is what's left of the walls and floors. The home was scattered across several acres, hundreds of feet away. There was nothing left standing vertically. Not even steps. Someone remarked "I can't imagine what it's like." My response: leave your house in the morning to go to work. When you come home, imagine a fire truck sitting in front of your home, and the only thing left is a concrete slab and smoldering ashes. That's pretty much what they were left with. A single unbroken plate from a set of 6, a bent fork, clothing and linens contaminated with pink fiberglass insulation, a dresser with a drawer broken out, crushed appliances, water-soaked books and electronics. Not much you can do with that stuff. Want to help? Paypal donations directly to Ross at crossbutler @ gmail . com Paypal ID. (remove the spaces)
