Normally, the Koreans dominate this title but this year Apolo would have none of it as he reclaimed the throne and placed the USA on top --- snatching the World Champion title right on Korean soil, ouch!

World Championships (March 7-9), South Korea, Short Track Speedskating season-ender showdown against top international contenders. As Apolo raced among some newer world class athletes & other notably worthy opponents - the competitions were filled with tension, excitement & an overwhelming eagerness to become the next 2008 World Champion.
