Hunting the mendocino forest Uncle Frank guted this Blacktail Deer in one shot. It was a bueatiful site to see.

The deer went about 50 feet if that and was hit in the heart with the second shot. Terrible shot. Funny guy.

Bullet hit right at the bottom of the stomach basically, yes. and second shot hit in the bread basket the second shot caused the lower to explode.

@itscoreyg, people who bat around terms like "tree huggers" tend to be global warming deniers. It's relevant because it represents a Creationist taker attitude toward nature, i.e. everything Man does is "natural" and not just greedy. That's why AGW is not a side issue here.

Most people who hunt for the sake of killing itself (i.e. trophies and "varmint" target practice) are Republicans, I assure you. They're the same ilk who almost wiped out the bison in the 1800s. Soulless and rotten.

@DantheGrim, if someone posted videos of cats and dogs getting stepped on by high heeled women (aka the banned "Crush" videos) would you also suggest that I just "not watch" and mind my own business? Think it over - what's the real difference?

Actually, this deer video is tame compared to other trophy hunting kill-shot porn, so it's not the best example. But the general concept is similar enough. The videos that really bother me are bears, big cats and elephants being shot as ego-trips.

@DantheGrim, YouTube has failed to enforce their guidelines not because these videos are moral, but probably because they seek redneck viewership revenue. It's like how they caved in and allowed people to post music, movie clips, etc.

But YouTube DOES ban videos of domestic animals getting tortured or killed. There's a big double standard when it comes to that vs. wild animals. I see no moral distinction at all, though. For example, shooting a wolf is like shooting a husky sled dog.

That was an absolutely terrible shot. You don't aim for the gut you aim for the lungs! Imagine how much pain that deer was in as it stumbled away, it's guts falling out behind it? It looks like it got pretty far for such massive truama so I'm sure it felt something

Take into consideration that if those guidelines really applied, it would remove a very large portion of what makes up youtube. It's simple, my friend: Not everyone thinks or reasons the same as you do; if you don't like it, don't click on it in the first place. Problem solved.

@DantheGrim, one reason people are sick of these "hunting" videos is found in YouTube's own guidelines:

* Don't post videos showing bad stuff like animal abuse, drug abuse, or bomb making.

* Graphic or gratuitous violence is not allowed. If your video shows someone getting hurt, attacked, or humiliated, don't post it.

* YouTube is not a shock site. Don't post gross-out videos of accidents, dead bodies and similar things.

How videos like this get past those rules is a mystery to many of us.

This is just more unnecessary YouTube carnage. And you can't even spell the title word correctly (at the time of this comment). It's gutted, not "guted."

People who truly need to hunt for food don't dwell on the means of death like this. Why not show slaughterhouse footage for "sport" while you're at it?

I doubt this point will register with the yokels who get off on these videos. Oh yeah, and "global warmin' ain't nothin' but a commie hoax."
