in my opinion one of the most dissapointing and saddest scenes was when jack shot curtis. curtis was the man.

Yeah, every season borrowed from 5 afterwards but I still liked the Tony double cross and Jonas Hodges subplots.

Plus, Bill's sacrifice was well-done. Season 8 I just didn't like how President Taylor went corrupt and the peace conference taking place in 24 hours (I can suspend belief on this show but that was too much).

Also, the Russians-Marwan wannabes just felt too repetitive. The revenge scenes were well-done but the ending was anticlimatic. I will however see the movie as promised.

@WatchMyAwesomeVideo2 season 7 was very good up until jack got the virus. And season 6 had good terrorists, Fayed and the russian guy, but they killed them off too early and got stuck with rehashing the Chinese dude and a terrible Audrey plot. I was not a huge Renee fan, and I can understand what you mean about it not being too realistic. But Jack's revenge scheme was awesome, Logan was great once again as the villian, and really they have copied and pasted elements in every season from 5 on.

Renee was just not at all likeable the last season and since they made her so unappealing, her death meant nothing but a predictable revenge scheme.

i would've liked it better if they had Kim Bauer blow up in a car bomb caused by Logan's associates & Bauer swear revenge. Would've been way more personal as opposed to a random love interest.

Also, Season 8 kept copying & pasting elements that were cool the 1st time but not so much the 2nd time (Logan captured, etc.) & the Iran villains sucked

Season 7 was really good. Despite being between two flawed Seasons (6 & 8), it still kicked major ass. They had some really good guest-stars, Tony returning was a very nice touch, CTU being shut down, new cutthroats high up, the White House siege was very suspenseful and some nice dialogue elevated it a step up that year. I enjoyed it almost as much as Season 1-5.

Season 6 had some good terrorists but yes it could've been more. I would've preferred that Curtis, Wayne & Audrey had a happy ending

@WatchMyAwesomeVideo2 I don't cut it slack, some of it wasn't great and it wasn't as good as season 1-5 but after Renee's death Jack Bauer got way more badass whereas once Audrey was introduced everything sucked. For that matter, after Jack was infected with the virus in season 7 the season tanked, although on a whole it was still better than 6. But I thought season 8 was pretty solid.
