"My interpretations of the Chopin concertos have been evolving continuously over the past 25 years. The performances on this disc don't in any way conflict with my first recording (...) but represent a different perspective witch has emerged gradually over time. Earlier I was only a few years older than Chopin himself when he wrote these works at the age of 19, and I regarded him almost as a colleague.
Today I approach then with greater experience, having worked on them with many superb conductors- though to recapture Chopin's youthfulness is now perhaps more difficult.(...)" - Krystian Zimerman.

Niewiele utworów Chopina jest w stanie mnie zafascynować, jednym y nich jest właśnie koncert f+moll. Wielu twierdzi,e ten koncert nie jest najlepszym utworem kompozytora, moje maja racje, jednego jestem pewien, jest to utwór najbardziej polski jeżeli chodzi o twórczość Chopina, niesamowicie polski, chwała za to Chopinowi

ludzie nawet nie zdają sobie sprawy z tego jak młodzież jest zainteresowana muzyką klasyczną i jak chętnie jej słucha, gdy tylko jest okazja! to się tak tylko może wydawać, że nas to nic nie obchodzi... wszyscy moi kuzyni i kuzynki grają na jakimś instrumencie, ja również...
