  • We need something for the young ones to look up to these days, a role model who gives praises the Lord and is not ashamed to do so in public... we have Tebow thanks be to God!! We need more like him!!

  • "god" has NOTHING to do with football or Tebow. Like the all knowing all seeing god cares about amercian football. HAHAHA

  • @MrSniperscope He does, the media will not carry stories like that. But, you are right in a way.The bible says that rain falls on the rich and the poor, etc.God is not responsible for what happens on earth, Satan and the powers of darkness. But this question of yours, take it up with Him after you die. Many absolutely hate God without even knowing Him.It's so easy to know Him. Time is short my friend

  • Americans are EXTREMELY LUKEWARM FALSE CARNAL "Christians" who don't know the real meaning of Christianity. You don't know or care about HOLINESS, SACRIFICE, or MARTYRDOM. You live just like everyone else and THIS IS WHAT CONSTITUTES A MIRACLE TO YOU! Real Christians couldn't CARE LESS about Football or Tebow. They're too busy doing the work of God, sacrificing, even being martyred for their faith. And they see REAL MIRACLES being performed by God every day. God condemns everything you glorify.

  • @jmlighting1 You are open to God, but are not sure - that's perfect! So long as your heart remains open to the possibility of His existance. For if He does exist, would it not be natural to seek to understand: "who He is?" There are many who are spiritually where you are - I can only advise you to follow your heart - the things that you instinctively know to be "right" and "wrong" - forgive others, and refrain from judging/stereotyping - God will come in time :)

  • @heydanbud - Oh Have you ever experienced someone who loved you, and that love did not depend upon anything you did - a love that was unconditional. If you have, then you have experienced God thru another human being. If you have not, then I pray that you do meet such a person, because when you do, you will have a revelation of how this world was intended to be. - I understand that you are looking for proof before you decide anything - good!

  • @heydanbud

Well, the idea of spending eternity in hell was not what the original church fathers believed - the word "death" (opposite of Life) is used in most passages that refer to hell, so I believe that "death" is the ending of existance. Like, God designed us to work a certain way, and we can be "out of His specs", He made a way for us to return to His design, that we can live with Him forever in a perfect place, yet it takes completely perfect people to make a place perfect.

  • @jmlighting1 Ive done it already, before i even consciously became an agnostic. i'm really being honest here, i have no reason to lie. nothing happened. I'm not claiming that god doesn't exist but i haven't seen any good evidence yet, sorry. you're a nice guy though, so have nice day

  • @jmlighting1 "God wishes for us to spend eternity with Him."

as opposed to spending an eternity in hell. which was created by him. so he's saving us from himself essentially. so he's giving us an offer that we can't refuse, and offering us "protection".

  • @jmlighting1

How do we accept God's love? We believe that He loves us, and we sincerely, and honestly approach God by speaking out loud or in our hearts (for He hears everything), and we ask Him like this: "God, if you are real, I want to know who you are, and I want to know why you made me - please show me - please reveal your love to me personnally - I want to know the Truth." - Say this prayer honestly, and watch what happens - I dare you!!!

  • @heydanbud

That's funny! I've never heard it explained that way - good try :) - I will do my best to explain another way - Jesus died on a cross to proclaim the message of God's true nature - "God is Love" - "God is our Father" - "God is our Creator" - "God is eternal" and God wishes for us to spend eternity with Him. Yet, in order to do that, we must become more like Him. What does God in Man look like? Jesus Christ. How do we become like Christ? We accept love.
