A 55 second clip taken from home movies of the 1964 12 Hours of Sebring. In the clip you will see the #10 Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe of Bob Holbert and Dave MacDonald. The car finished 4th but 1st in class. You will also see the #21 Ferrari 330P of John Surtees and Lorenzo Bandini. The car finished third. Included in this clip is the #14 Shelby Cobra of Phil Hill which finished 6th. Video courtesy of Mario Levetto.

  • Awesome stuff. Amazing how leisurely people are lounging right next to the track, oblivious of danger.

  • The footage from the race is brilliant for its time and so are the cars ofcourse. A big thumbs up to all the sportscar drivers at this time who had to tend with so much understeer and oversteer evertime they went into a corner.

  • I was there in 1964, most tires were still pretty skinny.... only the AC Cobras had bigger Goodyear NASCAR Stock Car tires... with limp frames.... The GTO's could drift forever. The Cobras could not... they would hop...."step out' when pushed too hard. Ferrari GTO's had 306 hp from 183 cid, sohc V-12, Cobras had 376 hp from 289 cid ohv....

    Rodriguez took over a GTO after his 330P died. He was 7th OA. AC Cobra Daytona Coupe was 4th OA
