I made a basic testing circuit for Megadrive's I/O port.
Megadrive have three I/O ports. It called Player 1, Player 2 and EXT.
It like PIC, AVR and other microcontroller's GPIO pin. And it support UART mode (2400bps).

This device is connect to Player 2 port.
I assigned the all I/O pins of Player 2 port to parallel output mode.
I/O pins are connect to Tr array and Tr array drive LEDs.
