Can i put other reels on the rod

Hi hillbillybob93, Thanks for watching & commenting. The only reels that fit on a Pen Fishing Rod are Pen Fishing Reels. It doesn't matter how small the reel seat is, it will not fit the reel holder on our rods. We offer 8 different reels ranging from a small fly reel all the way to top of the line MX15 rear drag reels made especially for Pen Fishing Rods. There's no need to put another reel on because we sell combos with the reel of your choice. We do not sell just the rods to non customers. :)

Im looking for something to keep in my truck and for backpacking. EVERYONE is talking about you guys so it seems to be a no brainer. I definatly want a spinning reel and i usually fish for largemouth, bluegill, and sometimes trout. Which combo do you recommend?

I would reccomend any one of our spinning combos. They range from 25.99 for a front drag all the way to 48.99 for our New MX15 series. There's 2 different rods. 1 is our 4' 9" Extreme model, and there's a slightly larger model which is our New Goliath which is 5' 3". Kudos mate. Keep at it. Mine runs fine just make sure to give them a wash after salt water use and little oil now and then wont hurt the reel! My friend had a rip off and they are just crap. get what you pay for mate. thanks! good fishing!

i got one a while back cool things. i use mine for jigging live bait works a treat caught a few 3-4 pounders on it too . keep up the good work guys
