@candygir7 The samurai existed and were most active during the warring states era,emperor had no ower apparently and it was decentralised.Same time as knights of Europe during the dark ages.If there are emperors/responsible centralised governments things would be better.Modern democracies are seldom for the people,of the people,by the people.Very few places exist(ed) where everything is/was perfect!Modern Switzerland springs to mind!Ancient India-Maurya empire was one such.Iceland betn 930-1262!

@candygir7 Well those were the ronin,samurai generally were loyal to the their masters and samurai was a title not of the profession but of the person,kind of like medieval knights in europe.Amongst samurai were different classes,some lords and others mere soldiers.The ninja were mercs,samurai were hereditary warriors.
