  • @angel13061987 The electric field just past the point a is inside the conductor, and the E field inside a conductor is zero, ( the formula for electric field inside the cavity isn't valid at this point because it was derived with a gaussian surface with r<a.)

  • Thanks for the video.

    I think there is a mistake at 6:05.

    The field inside the cavity does not fall all the way to zero (because it cant go to infinity but can only go as far as α)
