Douz to Ksar Ghilane piste, Tunisia on a pair of Ural and Dnepr sidecars - Part 5

Part 5 of the off road piste heading from Douz to Ksar Ghilane in Tunisia done in October 2009 on a pair of UK sidecars. They are the single wheel drive versions of the Ural 750 and Dnepr 650 bikes and we just lowered the tyre pressures and spread the weight over the 3 wheels to cope with the sand. Some of the dunes were pretty big - momentum was key and the steering wheel acted more like a
tiller on a ship but we did the whole piste..... this is us continuing on the piste and then realising that we had ridden straight past the Roman Fort out a couple of km out from Ksar Ghilane! We turn around and head back to have a quick look. It ends with Nathan trying to imitate the 4x4's by riding right to the top where the fort is located........and failing. Perhaps there are some things that are just too much for the bikes!!
