Sad news - due to some sour old people complaining, the local council BANNED Elvis from flying free, and he has been rehomed elsewhere...
Wilsden Village is a duller and worse off place without him... Now it's just like every other rubbish village around Bradford with no sense of community.
Well done those who complained, your small minority ruined it for everyone.
I bet they don't even live in Wilsden.

omfg, this bird once flw into my house XD no jokes!

@kazamuffin1 It's good that he's allowed out, but he used to fly around the WHOLE of Wilsden, it must feel like he's in prison.

@counttakeshi he is allowed out... he is let out to fly round the garden centre cos he always comes back to us.

Awesome video. Thanks for sharing this video (and your roof with him)

@counttakeshi He was showing signs of aggression and 'stir craziness' when we last saw him - he's not used to been locked up and it must feel like he's serving a prison sentence for no reason - it's sad that this beautiful bird that is used to having the freedom to fly around the village can no longer spread his wings.

@galaxypa ...except the gov't has become involved. They are only too happy to destroy the bird in order to "save" it.

@deew7dee Do you think Woodbank would be prepared to donate Elvis to a bird sanctuary or zoo, where he could live with other parrots and fly freely?
We have a place in mind.

@hencam1 I dont know you would have to ask my boss. We are pretty attatched to him and he brings customers! :)

@kazamuffin1 I can't imagine many customers would come just because of Elvis.
I think it would do much more for Woodbank's reputation for them to donate him to a wildlife reserve where he could fly freely, and be with others of his own kind and also live out his life displaying his natural behaviour for others to enjoy.
