Highly influential amonst the clan of talents from the united kingdom . john byrne (xmen),dave gibbons (green lantern/watchman) alan davis (excaliber) alan moore (watchman) . His style pushed envolopes crossing over from fine art to fantasy world and sci fi .

Yep Barry Windsor Smith, Jon Muth, Jeff Jones, Kaluta, Frazetta, Williamson, Wrightson are some of my favorite artists (actual artists) of all time.

Yes! A long time since I've seen the Beguiling. The Epic Comic Magazine was THE BEST comic of it's kind ever.

Even his early line art is killer. The Tupenny Conan portfolio. His 6 King Arthur drawings are among the most beautiful line drawings I have ever seen? And that was it...why not more art in this vein...he knows how sucessful they turned out. Yet he turns to drawing terrible comic book art. His early 70s art was much better than any of his art he is putting out today. As I said...wasted talent.
