How to customize your boot logo iPhone 4gs iPhone 4 iPad 2 iPad iPod iPhone 3g,iPhone&iPod Touch

Bonjour guys,

Here is a step by step by step guide on how to customize your iPhone/3g/iPod touch boot logo.

Using the cydia app LogoMe. LogoMe is a new app that lets you change the boot logo on the iPhone without having to re-jailbreak or restore

Please follow the step carfully and enjoy your personalized boot logo :)

Guide:

1. Install LogoMe from Cydia

2. Lauch LogoMe. When it loads let it download the necessary files.

3. Tap on Select Logo

4. Now type in the url of the pic you want to use as a boot logo, then tap Download

Note: you can get boot logos from:

http://ipodtouched.net/index.php?page_id=482

Note: Use snurl.com, to cut down your long url addresses. Enter the sit into your web browser, paste the original long url into the box provided and click snip it. Easy as that, magic!

The orginal url I had for the logo I used in the video, before snurl.com:

http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii14/ipodtouched/boot%20logos/tux.png

Snurl.com turned the url into this:

http://snurl.com/4jnph

Warning: If you ignore the warning about the logo being too big, you run the risk of having to restore your device

5. Now wait, and let it download the boot logo

6. Now tap on Install Logo

7. From here you can preview your boot logo. Tap on Preview. Tap on the screen when done previewing.

8. Now tap on Install to begin the installation process

9. Now you just wait and let it do its thing. Do not touch anything

10. Once its done you can reboot your iPhone/iPod Touch to see your boot logo
