It was founded by one of the most successful media corporations that could buy out the Devils owner in an instant, you call that a joke? It was smart sports synergy, and to call a team that won a Stanley Cup a joke is ridiculous.
You are just as crazy as the Sidney Crosby haters who claim the NHL rigs games in favor of the Penguins. Hockey players get away with illegal sticks from time to time, but how could the league sit by while someone uses illegal pads for nearly a decade? Dumbass.

OMG goaltenders rely on their pads?!?! Who would have thought. Despite NJ having a slew of Americans on their team, I hate the Devils for their fanbase. They make it seem as if the Ducks are the biggest threat to their success. Stop acting like you guys are so badass for winning in 2003, we are a respectable franchise. New Jersey is a trashy state with trashy fans.

This is a great illustration of how Giguere depended on his pads to make saves for him on this playoff run. Even the announcers comment on how he never moved to try to make the save.
