About my rating system.

Awful - Admit to liking this game and your friends and loved ones will forsake you. And you'll be arrested.

Bad - Really just a game for series/IP/genre diehards.

Okay - Not bad enough to be bad, not good enough to be good.

Good - Good ideas, good design, good execution. It's good.

Excellent - A very special layer of hell is reserved for people who don't own this game.

  • Amazing review as always! Can I ask you something : Do you know hotlesbianassassin personally??? :) Anyway keep up the good work!

  • @alerommel1 I have not yet met him in person (the accents perhaps give away the fact that we live in different countries!) but he and I have been close friends online for the last four or five years.

  • Ok, what I mean was, if you were to buy a PC, which one will it be to replace the one you own?

  • @TheDelta0214 If I bought one I'd probably get an Alienware, but it makes much more sense to buy the components and build it yourself. You save a lot of money that way.

  • Oh fuck!!! I feel so embarrassed, too many grammatical errors, I meant to say what kind of PC would you get next?

  • @TheDelta0214 That was actually my error, not yours. You asked right! But I don't know what you mean? I will be building it myself using high end gaming components.

  • By peak of 2d platforming i meant peak of the mario 2d games.

  • I think that the original super mario bros. Does not hold up. Repetitive and a bit cheap in terms of game design/difficulty at times. I don't judge based on visuals, but the colors used are boring and the whole game doesn't really have a style. As fatman says, a game that constantly changes its mechanics stays fresh and the original doesn't do that either. Smb3 is really the peak of 2D platforming in my opinion. It constantly throws new things at you, has very refined, creative gameplay/level d

  • Just so you know, kiaran just told me that in the latest patch you CAN grab things while touching them.

  • Since you are a real gamer, I am 99,9999999% sure that you have played the original Super Mario Bros. If so (or should I say since?) can you please tell me what is you opinion about that? Cause I have played this game for 17 years non-stop and I am not still bored with it! Do you think it is really great and timeless (as you define timeless in your Half Life review) or do you think it hasn't aged well? Sorry if the question is a bit silly and keep up the good work!!

  • I wish you had a PS3 and a copy of Demon's Souls! It's one of the best games I have played in 30 years of gaming and I'd be very interested in your opinion of it.

Keep up the good work antisocialfatman
