This is my slide show of my trip from Orlando, Florida up to Tennesse, then west to Oklahoma, Colorado, up to Idaho, west to Oregon and California and back. I took the most scenic routes in America - over 2months and 10,000 miles of bliss. I hope you like it and if so, please visit my Motorcycle travel site www.ShiftyDrifter.com

  • very, very nice.

  • Many of your pictures are like mine from my 3300 mile motorcycle trip two summers ago. I took my girlfriend from our home of Portland through Idaho, Glacier, Sturgis SD, Yellowstone and back through Southeastern Oregon to home.

When we got back to Portland my girlfriend said "I loved this experience so much, I think we should make a lifestyle of this........so I married her.

We're making plans for our second trip this summer on a new bike.

    Thanks for the great pics

    This is living!

  • Awww I was so mesmerized by the pictures and then it all ended so fast....and I was like hey man who turned out the lights!!! Awesome pics man great job!...although Coldplay x 2 was a little long...I hope your adventure was all and more than you expected. Thanks for sharing. An inspiration!

  • I wanna do this as well, I am 16 how much should I take? I wanna go from Miami(where I live) to NYC and from there to LA. God bless and yes I wanna take scenic routes.

  • Not much. Gas was around 3 bucks a gallon. If you read down the comments you'll see I figured out that cost. I camped every night except for a few nights only. Camping was any where from $10 - 20, so figure that out. I could have camped for free all I would have had to do is pull behind a post office, or abandoned gas stations (a LOT of those). Do not let money stop you. I guarantee you if you go for long enough ( at least a month) it will change you life for the better. Good Luck!

  • What was the cost of the trip?

  • Very inspiring...I'm going to do it. ;-)
