French Polynesia: Rangiroa (Blu Lagoon)

Giugno 2008, "qualcuno" ci ha regalato un viaggio di nozze nella Polinesia Francese. Ecco la prima tappa nell'atollo di Rangiroa e la relativa escursione all'incantevole "Laguna Blu"...
June 2008, we were gifted of a honeymoon trip to French Polynesia. This was our first stop, in the wild Rangiroa where we visited the amazing "Blu Lagoon"...

I heard Rangiroa has interior storms which I find pretty crazy. Also, what is the currency there? If there is any.

That's true but it happens rarely. The lagoon is pretty vast anyway. French Polynesia currency a cuople of years ago was the Pacific Franc (as the "were" French), they should have passed to Euro last year. I'm sure you'll find more news about it in the web. Ciao

Anyway, there was no fun at all... local people do it for show and tourists and at first it caught everyone's attention. In the end it was really awful, so kep your mouth shout next time

Grazie! Mmm... è costato parecchio, e meno male che ce l'hanno regalato per il viaggio di nozze perchè sennò non saremmo potuti adare (ERA la nostra lista nozze!): €.11.400,00 in due compresi, voli e trasporti e mezza pensione. In più ci sono i pranzi e gli extra (escursioni ecc...)

Si può andare con molto meno organizzandosi per conto proprio ed evitando gli alberghi di lusso. Le pensioni locali sono molto accoglienti e ben gestite.

La prossima volta, se mai ci sarà, faremo così! I polinesiani sono assolutamente tranquilli e le isole sono girabili per conto proprio senza bisogno di guide o altro!

La sua durata? In che senso? Il viaggio da Milano è durato 26 ore in totale. Se invece ti riferisci a quanto tempo siamo rimasti: 1-16 giugno, gli ultimi 3 giorni a NewYork.

Maybe I take a flight for 36 hours to Tahiti and then to Rangiroa from Germany in the next future ... Must visit this island :)

anche noi eravamo in honeymoon li nel giugno 2008! abbiamo fatto tahiti al sofitel....poi moorea al sofitel (strepitoso!!!) e in ultimo rangiroa al novitel...tutta un'altra cosa.... bellissimi ricordi.....!!!
