How to introduce two dogs(Akitas) to each other (average energy level)

This video shows three dog to dog introductions in a shelter setting. All the dogs were shelter dogs so their background was limited. The videos show one method to introduce two dogs to each other. No matter how you do it, keep the leashes loose, listen with your eyes and move with the dogs.

Then you will have to listen with your ears to pick up the subtle sounds that indicate play or fight. If on lead, then treat it like a fishing line to tell what the dogs are doing. Dogs are visual with their communication, so it's what they will use first to communicate, then sound.

Hi , u have really cute dogs..I've a question tho..I got a golden retriever 8 month old and last night me and my friend tried to introduce our dogs but they got into a fight..his dog is a golden retrieve as well 11 month old , how can i avoid what happened last night ... i need them to play/be friends.
