@tamerlano236 Hehe Hello Tamer!! I read your comment, and yes, I love female contraltos... but good ones! And I'm very shy to say that I only know very few, and the one I like the most is Sara Mingardo :-).
And yes, for sure now I know it's just about own feelings. It's very different for me listening a countertenor and a contralto. This one sounds very light, very ethereal.. very pure etc, nothing dark! Not saying its not beautiful, it is very much, just my taste would keep with Sara's version.

Despise his voice being very good and the singing being perfect, I think in terms of emotion and so on only a contralto could transport us to that sad, heavy feeling this piece MUST have.

It's a great performance, I love all the ornamentation and I absolutely love his trills =) Bravo!! Magnificent!
