  • Awesome. I always look for clips or quotes from Eddie talking about the songwriting process cause I always want to know what makes him tick. I was fascinated to hear him mention his moments of inspiration during the writing of the songs 'The Fixer' and 'Just Breath'. Cool.

  • compared to what they've done, as petefader said, it sounds like middle aged soft punk....

  • @rickdafrog

Brendan O'Brien doesn't write the songs. PJ is responsible for this middle aged, soccer mom record.

  • Now that i'm 18 i can finally go to concerts without having my mom bitch me out. Can't wait for you guys to come back to Chicago!!!!!

  • @borski67 ummm what?

  • Terrible, sounds like douche bag indie rock - are they trying to impress these assholes at Pitchfork? Shitty soundtrack music to a shitty Jennifer Aniston movie.....

  • @wheelroof3 i didnt care for it much but u have to understand as musicians they have to explore their talents there 20 years strong and still havent dropped off the scence statistically the greatest american rock band

  • They're not grunge anymore, more like middle aged soft punk. :(

  • to me backspacer was their worst record by far...sorry

  • In what sense has he fucked up every band he's produced? Their best albums are the one's he worked on.
