Half the people you meet at university are eternal students who go from one degree to another but they don't have the personality or the ability to get a job. I am also an eternal student in as much as I cant help learning but I consider work and putting my knowledge and skills into practice to be the real nectar When I talk to people who cant work they come up with really stupid excuses like eg they don't have the clothes I say" Try the charity shop " No imagination, confidence or charisma

@SilverRedIndigo You have Imagination,confidence and charisma by the truck load Doreen and you raised a family, but I think you've met the kind of people I'm talking about, they don't care about nice food, clothes, art, new people, travel etc They come across as mad but its just that they know a lot of stuff. I don't know how they'll cope now that fees have gone up to 9,000 pounds p.a. ( disgraceful ) I have resorted to learning German from a book I got for 20 p

@SilverRedIndigo There is a word for what you describe, its paranoia. So you dont think your as smart as you should be, and you cant remember some things, disappointment+poor memory does not equal bizarre experiments on everybody that has a high iq.
