After rowdy piper fought Hogan at Starcade 97. Nwo was over.

This Nitro and the Nitro from the previous week were the best episodes ever of the show. Both shows ended with the NWO beating the hell out of the likes of The Four Horsemen, Macho Man, Sting, The Faces of Fear, etc. They would then always end up at broadcast booth. This was when the NWO was at it's best because it was still such a small group but so badass that they could beat the hell out of the whole WCW.
