TERRA EPISODE 101:
Andy O'Hair, a fourth generation rancher in Paradise Valley, Montana explains his situation with a newly introduced predator on the run in his backyard. On the other side of the fence, many environmental organizations have latched onto the wolf as a symbol for their cause. Are these competing interests really polar opposites? Does this face-off reveal the potential for a new compromise? As Freeman House put it best, "Where do we go from here?"

Typical. More mindless, egomaniac, racist and discriminant wolf haters along with idiot ranchers who don't bother resorting to less lethal means of keeping the wolves away. As for protecting their livestock more like protecting their greedy asses. If its so hard to coincide with wolves then they should just get a different profession; One that is far from wolves as possible.

This is stupid. I get sick of hearing making these inane remarks blaming these ranchers for protecting what they have. Honestly, leave these poor guys alone. If they kill a wolf for protecting theur livestock then they shouldn't be blamed for it. You people oughtta be more sympathetic considering that these ranchers did NOT hunt these wolves for their fur but oly killed them in defense of their property and possibly their lives.

screw ranchers, they kill their live stock anyway. its their fault they logged their home and they have no choice but to go after livestock. since ranchers destroyed their hunting grounds they go for livestock. so dont complain about what they did, it was your fault from the beggining. plant a new forest and move you ass. im talking about the ranchers, not you.

Can't have a viable population with out proper MANAGEMENT, thats all any one wants now, is for the government to stop it's mealy mouthed lies, and Manage the animals to a reasonable population thats safe for all species and people (people pets livestock game are all perishing and with an annual 20%+ increase yearly, the wolves will soon themselves run out of food, is that fair to them either?

@xdysifunksionalx So what if they don't want to share their food with wolves? Do you cry about the millions of rodents and insects being killed EVERY DAY to protect crops? Should you have to share your food with them? Hunters don't want to make the wolf extinct, they just want to manage their numbers so they have game to hunt too.

I've spent more time in the wildlands than any grease sucking, sheep humping rancher, and can tell you that the life of one wolf is worth more than all 'cattle rustlin' folks combined. Just kidding. But honestly, the wolves have more right (and brains) than ranchers to that land.
