@TitusSviatoslav ...and that objection must be in WRITING and signed by a member of each house and can only be based on a vote being improperly cast or certified, not based on who is named. And further if the entire election were held as null the House would immediately have proceeded to pick Obama as President, it being overwhelmingly Democrat at the time.

@vigilannie2 Sigh, get over it, he got elected. And if you really insist on the objections objection, read my fcuking posts where I show that by law objections must be in writing, signed by a member of each house, and can only object to VOTES cast improperly not to the people voted for. Finally if the objection had happened and been sustained then the House would have picked Obama overwhelmingly in electing a president. Oh Yeah. Impeach Cheney.

@BradleyTV4Life Hey thanks for the laugh, it's really funny to read the crap on this page now that we have Obama's long form birth certificate -- ooooo of course it too is a fake, and he's really an Arab counterintelligence agent. The FBI thought it would be good to have a non-citizen given illegal access to classified information and now the nuclear switch, so they ignored what they found when they got his birth records...and yeah, I was right, Cheney was in the tank for Obama.

Cheney is just as guilty as Pelosi!!! ...for NOT asking for objections!
Cheney did not call for objections as is required by law.
3 U.S.C. § 15, Congress is directed to be in session on the appropriate date to count the electoral votes for President, with the President of the Senate presiding. The statute further directs that the electoral votes be counted, and then the results be presented to the President of the Senate, who shall then announce the state of the vote. The statute then provides a mechanism for objections to be registered and resolved.
