Youre very lucky. Since launch I had 2 in the first 2 years get a RRoD, but its hasnt happened again since, though my 3rd did have a disc drive issue, I was able to fix w/o microsoft support. I honestly think the Nyko Intercooler was to blame for the RRoD's but thats just been a theory I cant prove. I would strongly recommend that everyone stay away from Intercoolers, I think it uses too much of the consoles power and overheats it (yes an intercooler that overheats your sysytem lol)

I will tell you this, I have owned and still own my atari 2600, jaguar, NES, SNES, Genesis/CD/32x, Sega Saturn, PS1, PS2, PS3, Dreamcast, 3DO, N64, Gamecube, Wii, and original Xbox. They all still work just fine. I really doubt I was treating that one console wrong, did I forget to buy it dinner or something? I have been gaming for over 20 years and never experienced hardware issues like the 360 had with their early models.

i was just making a joke. But in all seriousness, I take excellent care of my consoles, I dust them, dont set anything on them, never left them on when away. it was just the early launches of the 360 that had hardware issues, they have since improved their models with the elite, and replaced the chipset, but the old 360's from like 4-5 years ago were notorious for their hardware failure.

I love the PS3 I am an owner of the slim and what still confuses me is the fact that the XBOX 360 is more popular why it just doesn't make sense PS3 has so much to offer than the xbox! thumbs up if you agree!
